CEO & Co-founder
Lee founded OpenReel with a singular vision: to streamline the process of creating high-quality video content. During his nearly 20 years working in digital marketing, growth strategy, and sales, he experienced firsthand how resource-intensive video shoots were — but how crucial enterprise-level video can be for businesses to succeed. Today, Lee is actively delivering on this vision as OpenReel provides professional-quality video to Fortune 500 companies and well-loved brands via Remote Capture. Under his leadership, the company has experienced unprecedented momentum and growth. Prior to founding OpenReel, Lee founded Baystone Media, a website and social business he grew to over 7,000 clients before it was acquired by Internet Brands / Hellman & Friedman.
CTO & Co-founder
Joe brings to OpenReel his incredible expertise in engineering management and product development. His forward-thinking ability to develop technology that creates exceptional outcomes for clients ensures OpenReel’s patented remote video technology is able to seamlessly deliver enterprise-level, white-glove video production. Prior to OpenReel, Joe held senior technology and operations leadership positions at Baystone Media, which was acquired by Internet Brands / Hellman & Friedman. Following that acquisition, Joe led the technology and operations functions for the healthcare marketing division of Internet Brands, utilizing his expertise in scaling revenue-generating functions of organization to grow the customer base to more than 30,000 and a subsequent acquisition by private equity firm KKR. Joe has also consulted for several technology companies (such as SpringCM, acquired by DocuSign) and he holds two patents for recording and storing media content.
Head of Operations
Joe joins OpenReel with more than 15 years of progressive entrepreneurial, operational, and professional services experience building, growing, and leading the operations of B2B startup organizations. Prior to OpenReel, Joe led the creation and execution of operational strategy for two Seattle-based high-tech cybersecurity startups, Deja vu Security and Peach Tech, both of which were subsequently acquired by Accenture LLP and GitLab, respectively.
Head of Marketing
Teresa brings a decade of dynamic experience conceptualizing, designing, and executing go-to-market strategies for B2B SaaS technologies. Previously, she held director-level marketing positions for customer data platforms mParticle and Tapad, as well as a marketing and operations management role for FinTech startup trueEx. During her tenure at Tapad, Teresa also oversaw their in-house startup incubator after Tapad’s subsequent acquisition by Telenor Group.
Director of Revenue Operations
As the Director of RevOps, Daniel’s leadership is backed by two decades of specialization in revenue growth solutions, sales engineering, and sales productivity. Prior to OpenReel, he built and led operations teams of various sizes at both digital startups and Fortune 100 companies, including Warner Media and News Corporation.
Head of Account Management
As the Head of Account Management, Lindsey manages a team responsible for creating long-term, collaborative relationships with OpenReel clients. With a consultative approach, a customer-focused strategy, and deep product knowledge, she empowers innovative solutions, maximizes customer value, and consults closely with OpenReel’s customers to help them effectively leverage our product to meet core business objectives.
Director of Sales & Strategic Partnerships
Justin is the Director of Sales and Strategic Partnerships at OpenReel and is responsible for enterprise-level strategic partnerships and company growth. He comes to OpenReel with over 15 years of enterprise sales and business development experience. Prior to OpenReel Justin ran business development for GiantStreet where he formed partnerships with Dow Jones and grew company revenue by 75% in just over 6 months.
Director of Sales
Tyler is the Director of Sales at OpenReel and is responsible for the company's SMB and Mid-Market sales initiatives. He comes to OpenReel with 5 years of sales experience and 3 years of sales leadership. Prior to OpenReel, Tyler was a sales manager at SinglePlatform which grew to 40,000 clients and was acquired by Endurance International in 2016.
Director of Development and IT Operations
Over the last decade and a half, Tim has leveraged his core strengths in operations, revenue optimization, customer retention strategy, financial analysis, and process improvement at Xerox and Internet Brands. As the Director of Development & IT Operations, Tim will be formulating product strategy and identifying market opportunities.
Mobile Engineering Manager and Mobile Architect
Stefan has been developing large-scale software for over 20 years, and stepped into the world of mobile app development as soon as the iPhone App Store made its debut. He brings experience developing both mobile payment and video streaming apps, and will play a key role in continuing OpenReel’s powerful product development.
Director of Content
Liz has a decade of accelerating editorial creativity, digital strategy, and brand partnerships within the magazine journalism space, most recently leading Editorial Partnerships for America’s top digital lifestyle publication. She brings to OpenReel an editor’s eye, a keen creativity for growing brands through content, and an enthusiasm for developing strong, fruitful relationships with like-minded, forward-thinking brands.
Director of Strategic Initiatives
Over the last 12 years, Mike has worked in the digital marketing industry holding roles in Customer Service, Marketing, Channel Development, and Operations. From this experience Mike will bring his abilities to create engaging and impactful customer experiences and develop efficient internal processes for employees. As the Director of Strategic Initiatives, his main goal will be continuing the growth at OpenReel by leading new strategies and projects.
